Generated meeting notes are a draft for your review. Check them against the recording and raw transcript before assigning them to a Project.

Open the notes

  1. Open Meeting Recordings.
  2. Select View beside the meeting.
  3. Open the Generated notes tab.
If note generation is still in progress, the notes area shows a processing message. Reopen the meeting when the status changes to Ready.

Check the draft

Compare important details with the recording or transcript, including:
  • Names and speakers
  • Dates, numbers, and commitments
  • Decisions and open questions
  • Tasks, owners, and deadlines
  • Anything that sounds uncertain or incomplete
Ask yourself whether the notes are appropriate for the Project and the people who will use them. Remove private or irrelevant conversation before assigning the notes to a Project.

Edit and save the notes

Select the edit control in the notes area to open the Markdown editor. You can edit the text directly or use the formatting actions for headings, bold text, lists, and links. While you are editing:
  • Use Undo to reverse recent note changes
  • Choose Save to keep your corrections
  • Leave the editor or return to the meeting list only after saving or discarding your changes
Saved note edits replace the previous version. If the notes changed elsewhere, reload the meeting and review the newer version before saving again.

Regenerate the notes

Choose Regenerate notes when you want Athena to create a new draft from the saved transcript and its included entries. Before you start:
  1. Save or undo transcript corrections.
  2. Save or undo note corrections.
  3. Check that the transcript exclusions are current.
  4. Confirm the regeneration.
Regeneration replaces the current generated notes and cannot be undone. Review the new result before assigning it to a Project. If notes are already being regenerated, wait for the current attempt to finish. If an attempt takes too long, the meeting shows a retry option.

Share notes with a Project

When the notes are accurate and ready to become reusable Project knowledge, assign the meeting notes to a Project. Assigned Projects receive the current saved notes; later saved edits or regeneration update those Project copies.
