Open the AI Assistant from a Project when you want help thinking through the work or turning an idea into something useful.

Ask questions about a Project

Athena can help you:
  • Clarify a problem or opportunity
  • Explore ideas and alternatives
  • Identify assumptions, risks, and unanswered questions
  • Summarize or compare information
  • Turn a rough idea into a structured plan
  • Suggest next steps
Ask a direct question when you want an answer or analysis without changing the Project.

Create new work

You can ask Athena to create new work from the conversation. Depending on your request, this may include:
  • A new Project artifact
  • Test cards or structured hypotheses
  • A Value Proposition Canvas or Business Model Canvas
  • A governance structure
  • An Environment Scan or other specialized analysis
  • A document or presentation
Describe the intended audience, format, and level of detail. Athena will use the open Project as a starting point and may ask you to review a proposed action before it is applied.

Improve existing Project content

Ask Athena to update the Project name, problem or opportunity, solution, or an existing artifact. When a request would change Project content, Athena shows the proposed change so you can review it before accepting it. This makes it possible to use natural language without losing control of the Project’s source content.

Work with supporting files

Attach files to a chat when the information is relevant to the conversation but is not already available as a Project Source. Attachments remain available for follow-up turns in that chat until you remove them. For information that should be reusable by the Project team, add it as a Project Source instead. See Source visibility and permissions.

Type or speak

You can type a prompt or use the microphone to provide one. Review the transcribed prompt before relying on it, especially when names, numbers, or specialized terms matter.

Use the right kind of request

The clearest prompts say what you want Athena to do:
  • Ask for an explanation or analysis
  • Create something new
  • Update something that already exists
  • Use a specialized Project tool
See Asking, creating, and modifying for examples.
